Join us in two medium-intensive one-day bicycle tours through beautiful South Bohemia countryside, which will end in the famous local breweries. In the town of Protivín you will be rewarded by a visit to what used to be the largest Schwarzenberg brewery in the Prácheň Region, which today is a private brewery known as Platan. In the countryside under Zvíkov Castle you will visit a small family-owned brewery called Pivovarský dvůr (Brewery Courtyard), which with its 15-year-old tradition is the holder of the title the 2008 Beer of the Czech Republic.

Program:

Day 1:

• Bicycle tour to Protivín - with a printed guide "Journey to Protivín" - 43 km (the first section of the route goes through the "Zelendárky" protected area and it ends in Protivín)
• Tour of the brewery in Protivín with tastings of Platan beer
• Opportunity of having lunch in Protivín
• Return to Písek (the second section of the route goes through picturesque landscape along the river Blanice and over the Hůrky Forest back to Písek)
• Dinner in the restaurant consisting of a three course menu

Day 2

• Breakfast
• Bicycle tour to Zvíkov - with a printed guide to "Sedláček's Trail"- 56 km (the first section of the route follows both sides of Otava River from Písek all the way to Zvíkov)
• Excursion to the "Brewery Courtyard" a family-owned brewery under the Zvíkov Castle with tastings of Zlatá Labuť (Golden Swan) beer
• Opportunity of having lunch under the Zvíkov Hotel
• Return to Písek (the second section of the route goes along the right bank of Otava River over the forests and through the villages back to Písek)

The price of package includes only 1 night (additional night can be ordered for a reduced price of 800.00 CZK per person).

• Bus transportation during both days:
  - Groups with a minimum of 10 passengers 600.00 CZK per person
