Zvíkovské Podhradí village became a popular tourist destination. It’s most important monument is Zvíkov castle in early Gothic style, looming above the confluence of two rivers - Otava and Vltava. Among other important places of interest belong bridges over those two rivers, well visible e.g. from sightseeing boat trip. Zvíkovské Podhradí also offers not only great trekking and cycling opportunities to its visitors but also swimming in the pool, various sports activities and food and accommodation service. A visit to the local brewery is possible too (www.pivovar-zvikov.cz).
