Albrechtice nad Vltavou village is situated in Písek region, 15 km south eastwards from Písek. The municipality consists of six villages, spread on the Vltava river banks and fringed by forests of Písecké hory (Písek Mountains). The whole area offers a good swimming, relax, mushroom and other forest fruit picking conditions and is suitable both for trekkers and byciclers. There is also angling possibility on the nearby lake.
