ČERVENÁ NAD VLTAVOU

• Romanesque ´Red Church´ transferred from the flood area of the Orlická Dam (interior is not accessible).

MILEVSKO

• Premonstratensian Monastery - the oldest monastery in South Bohemia. Its founder, Jiří z Milevska, was the first historically known magnate in the Písek region. The place of residence of the annalist Jarloch. A Romanesque Church of St Jiljí.(The Museum of the Milevsko Region is situated in the Monastery Convent and shows the history of the monastery and the town and regional ethnography. Opening hours: III.-XII. daily except Monday).

KLOKOČÍN

• Gothic-Renaissance fortification, gallery ´Radost´(opening hours V.-X. daily except Mondays 10 a.m. - noon and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., voluntary admission fee).

PÍSEK

• Gothic bridge, the oldest bridge in Bohemia (only for pedestrians)
• Prácheň Museum complex within the former royal Castle
• Church of the Birth of Virgin Mary (only the porch area of the church is accessible outside of mass hours)

ZVÍKOV

• The ´King of Czech Castles´, a Gothic castle at the conflux of the Vltava and Otava Rivers (opening hours: IV., X. on the weekends and public holidays, V.-IX. daily except Monday).
