Žďákov Bridge lies on the road between Tábor and Plzeň, approximately 15 km from Milevsko. It was named after the nearby village, flooded during the construction and filling up of Orlík Lake. Žďákov Bridge was built between 1957 and 1965. Its length is 541 m and the span of the main arch is 330 m - it used to be the biggest one-arch bridge of the world in that times. A marked footpath leads on the bridge - there are two pavements and a traffic road. On the left river bank (Orlík Lake) the village Orlík nad Vltavou is situated. There is also a possibility to park the car, near the kiosk, on the left river bank.
