The Castle Čimelice is the only one of the Baroque palace architecture in South Bohemia. The castle was built during the influence of K. Bissingen between 1728 and 1730. In 1817 a new castle in Empire style was added next to the former redoubt. Nowadays, both castles belongs to Karel Swarzenberg property and it their interior is not open to public. The Čimelice Castle is located in the park, from whom leads the way - alley, in the Nature Preserve Zone Čimelice - Rakovice.
